The Lion King

The Lion King is a musical which is based on Disney´s 1994 animated film.
A tale of love, jealousy, betrayal and determination, the story follows the life of a young lion cub named Simba who is heir to his father, Mufasa´s, throne. The jealousy of Mufasa´s evil brother, Scar, leads him to conspire with a legion of hyenas in a bid to kill Mufasa and Simba and become king himself. Scar successfully murders Mufasa, but Simba survives the attack only to find himself exiled from the land after he is blamed, by Scar, for the death of his father.
Exiled, Simba must face the difficulties of his past to defeat Scar and reclaim his role in the Circle of Life.
